Further information(s) : Located just above the lake « du Bourget » , the "Pierre du Carré » crag is a remarkable place with a varied climbs and a beautiful environment.
Remarkable also the fact that this is a monolith that rises on all sides!
Here you can climb throughout the year, with the freshness in summer or winter sun, just change the front. Therefore, the crag is popular and people come here for a good time.
Regarding the climbing itself, is varied (slabs, cracks, walls ...) on very pretty rock.
All grades are present from 5 to 8b.
Since 2009, CHAMBERY CLIMBING club offers some well-equipped routes and lengthy on a new sector.
