Further information(s) : It's THE CRAG to be in Savoie by its size, climbs and wonderful panorama. Its western orientation, and little shade at the foot of the crag, make that one can climb all year round.
There are no less than 18 sectors totaling over 340 routes. You'll find almost all climbing styles, technical, physical and investments on a beautiful compact limestone, in slabs, steep walls, roofs,
dihedrals and cracks are the main forms profiles present at the Chambotte.
Regarding climbing levels, even if there is a lot of 7 and 8, it can be widely pleasure from 6a. Caution, however, climbers coming for the first time in La Chambotte will be surprised at the severity of grades!
Because again, grades are subjective and belong to those who give them, the main thing being still to have fun climbing and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

From Aix-les-Bains and Annecy, join la Biolle and Saint-Germain-la-Chambotte. Continue on D991b towards the pass of the Chambotte. Parking lot is 50 m after the pass.
