leave the children and the coolbox at home! The approach (and above all the return) are rather steep and the foot of the routes is raised up.
Approach: 30 mins. Sometimes difficult to follow through very high maquis. Follow the path which passes alongside the river visible 15m below (‘true’ left bank) without ever moving too far away from it. After 8/10 mins, the path reaches the river. Follow the riverbed for around 100m up to a pool. Look on the right for a path which ascends and passes alongside the river on a balcony up to a rope handrail (5 mins). Ascend the steep slabs (fixed ropes) to a crest (5 mins). Continue 20m on the boulders, descend to the right and contour round to the left towards large rocks. Go over a small col (5 mins) and gain the cliff which is in front of you. The routes are on the opposite face of the cliff. Go around it to the left and gain the foot of the routes using the rope handrails.
