Further information(s) : Five centuries ago, the Genoese exploited this site for the purpose of extracting and hewing stones. Ever since then, the rock of Brando has been sought-after for construction purposes.
In 2001, Vanina Ciavaldini and Marc Constant, also tied in life, bolted this quarry with three routes. Since, the site has been further developed with vertical and slightly overhanging climbing that sometimes has a small boulder move.
