From the Val Claret car park, go up by a path (variant of the GR55) along the Le Retort stream aiming the "Blocs du Retort" ( https://climbingaway.fr/en/climbing-areas/vallon-du-paquis ) then leave the main block on the left and go up the valley towards the cliff, leaving the path.
The approach is easy except for the last 50 meters on a steep slope.
